it's amazing how much a class spirit can do. it has happened right in front of me, and TO me! summary of what i wanna say: you guys totally ROCK! in times of need, u all have shown u will willingly offer a helping hand. no class i've eva been to in my years of schooling has been willing to go to such extents. without u guys, i guess i wouldn't have made it.
when i first came into hc, i was actualli kinda wondering if i wud be able to fit into an institution of world-class leaders (sounds familiar? it's part of our sch vision haha), dominated by ppl from terric, branded schs.. i came from a SAP sch, but it is average compared to where u guys came from. i wondered if there were gonna be snobs. i wondered if i shud just sink into my comfort zone n go to a college where i knew many frens - VJ or TJ. afta all it wud be so convenient for mi! but sth inside me was telling me to take up the challenge.. step out of my comfort zone! go to my dream college though it meant starting anew n knowing only a handful of ppl, all of whom i wasn't close to!
thank God for His blessings cuz i was posted to a CT with great ppl n in which i cud b so comfortable just being myself - a class with no pretense, no evil thoughts, no snobs - n be accepted just the way i am. :) a class full of spirit n drive to keep the 71 name! haha.
anw i just wanna say this to ronald: dun lose faith in urself cuz of this, cuz i'm sure u'll shine in things tt u were meant to do. u've got ur own strengths, n maybe it was planned tt u'll develop these strengths of urs in different ways n areas, not thru council.. wadeva it is, kip smiling cuz we'll support u, assistant CT rep! :) i believe we both gained sth from the campaigning :) there were high times - laughter n fun, n also low times - little time to prepare, stress, anxiety n disappointment. n i guess we've learnt how to manage all these thru e whole process. in any case, i think i've learnt more abt u n i'm thankful 4 tt. :)
